Thrifty Thursday

This week's tip is to dilute your juice!  I am sure many of you do this already but it's always good to be reminded.  I dilute our juice for a couple of reasons. One is that you can make a can of concentrate go twice as long as it would normally and two if you have little ones they really shouldn't be getting all that sugar!  Try half and half for your toddlers and a third water to two thirds juice for you and the rest of the family!

Thrifty Thursday

This tip is for the ladies.  I know we love to look and feel good and one way we like to do that is by getting our nails done.  I can't for the life of me grow my nails, I have tried so many different things and nothing works so I have given in to having gel/solar/acrylic nails put on.  As you all know this can get very expensive!  At $35 a set your talking $50-$60 dollars a month when you add rebases.  Really expensive for two coupon clippers like us!  In a previous post we told you about Kiss nails and how awesome they actually look.  You get the salon look for a fraction of the price!  Kiss is still offering a $2 off coupon if you Like them on Facebook.  Making a set of nails roughly around $4!  You can print 2 of these coupons! Give them a try I am sure you won't be disappointed!  Let us know how you like them!

Thrifty Thursday

Each Thursday we'd like to share a tip with you on ways you can save a few extra dollars with little to no work!

Did you know that bread freezes really well?  When I find bread, bagels, rolls, etc. discounted, I stock up!  Simply place the bread in your freezer & pull out about an hour or two before you are wanting to use it.  Not long ago at Safeway I found a CLEARANCE section in their bakery dept. just like they have at the back of most of their stores!  They usually mark the bread down 50-75% !  Wal-mart and Kings also have these sections.  If you've got a little extra freezer space this is an excellent way to take advantage of great prices on bread!
